Newton's 2nd Law (12 of 21) Calculate Acceleration w/o Friction; Inclined Plane, Pulley, Two Masses

Shows how to calculate the acceleration and tension in the string for a two block system on an inclined plane without friction using Newton' Second Law. The acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force applied to the object and inversely proportional to the mass of the object. The second law can also be stated in terms of an object's changing momentum, such that the rate of change of momentum of an object is directly proportional to the net force applied and the change in momentum is in the direction of the net force.
