Deep hip opening yin yoga flow for tight hips and glutes. Open your hips & release your emotional tension with this yin style hips opening practice. If you have very tight outer hips, hip flexors this class is your solution. In yin yoga we passively hold the poses targeting not only soft tissue but hard tissue like ligaments. It's not uncommon to feel a rush of emotions in hip-opening poses. In yogic terms there is no separation between mind, body, and spirit. The three exist as a union.
As we go through some unpleasant emotions, stress, trauma your body responds by tightening/clenching & builds up the tension that can accumulate for years.
Practicing hip opening asanas helps to relieve stress & anxiety, as well as stir some emotions & past experiences. Just let them all out, you don’t need to hold onto them.
