Perad/Gauva cheese is a Goan dessert. This sweet and soft dessert always holds a special place in my heart . Growing up I used to watch mama prepare it. The preparation process is very long and takes a lot of patience, as you have to stir it till you get the perfect consistency.


Total Cooking time : 1.5 hours

Ingredients :
9 ripened guavas (450 gms guava paste)
450 gms sugar
3 drops red food colour
1 tsp butter
1/4 tsp lime juice
1/4 cup water
