This simple step by step
This simple step by step tutorial will show you how to draw and paint a pink flamingo with watercolor. I will also show you how to use ink to outline it and give it more of an illustrative look. This is a great tutorial for beginners, all you need are basic watercolor supplies. This was a requested tutorial, enjoy!
Supplies
watercolor set
watercolor paintbrush (round and either size 6,8, or 10)
watercolor paper
water in a container
paper towel
scratch piece of paper
pencil and eraser
Fine tip waterproof pen or marker (I used a Micron Pigma pen size 01)
Inspiration
American Flamingo by John James Audubon
To simplify this
Dont draw in all the feathers
Paint the whole thing pink, leaving out shadows
Tip
The legs should be longer than I have drawn them:)
