Honda BMXA Meenan Transmission

This 2001 Honda Civic transmission has 129,000 miles on it and was slipping in third gear. In addition to the slippage condition there was a significant noise comming from the transmission due to the filter being contaminated with torque converter clutch material. This transmission will be rebuilt with updated 1st
and 3rd gear drums that are prone to crack. In addition to the drum updates a Sonnax lube regulated PR valve will be installed to ensure proper torque converter opperation and longevity. Even with these additional updated components installed the rebuilding of this transmission was more ecconomical than installing a remanufactured transmission.
