Dried Sprats (or Anchovies) are fried till slightly crisp and a little chewy. Delicious with rice and other Sri Lankan curries.
This is how my grandmother made it and it was so delicious, I had to share the recipe! So effortless and easy to make.
Just be sure to buy the headless, gutted, dry anchovies/sprats when looking to buy it. You might pay extra but it's worth it! Otherwise, these sprats can be very time-consuming to make since each and every sprat has to be cleaned!
