Screening Mammograms are becoming available at many breast imaging locations in Northern Virginia. I wanted to share an up-to-date list as of May 4th, 2020. I hope this outreach will be helpful to the women of our community and their physicians that order breast imaging. John Williams MD

Screening Mammograms have been UNAVAILABLE over the last several months. Facilities in Nova are opening up now. I will update you on where & when they are available for you and your patients.

The COVID 19 pandemic completely shut down “Screening Mammograms”. And appropriately so for the safety of both patients and mammographers. As of May 1st, Virginia’s governor will now allow resumption of these important “elective” screening studies.

The quality of breast imaging available to us if fantastic. In this video I will review every hospital and imaging center in NOVA and let you know when if and when they will be opening for screening mammograms for the women of our region.

Mammographic screening is incredibly important. It is essential. It saves lives. Lets not let COVID-19 harm more than it already has.
