Let’s drive to the Scottish countryside to seek the special moment when the Heather on the Hills flower.
On upland moors, purple Heather blooms brightly from the end of summer to Autumn.
Heather is a symbolic flower in Scotland and also with associated Scotch Whisky.
After a trip, we will pick apples and plums from a local community fruit garden and make crispy pastry Apple Pie. Please see the Apple Pie recipe below.
