Trivia #1

Italy has more than 50 extremely beautiful sites recognized as UNESCO Heritage sites. Therefore, Italy is currently the country with the highest number in the world. You can enjoy them in our video: they're amazing!

Trivia #2

In Italy there are the only three active volcanoes in Europe: Etna, Stromboli and  Vesuvio! They are all located in southern Italy. By the way Etna is, also,the most active volcano in the world!



Trivia #3

Italy boasts the most ancient university in Europe:  the University of Bologna, founded in 1088. Here is where you can get the "laurea magistrale", which is equivalent to the one that, in English, is called Master’s Degree. Moreover, just to be precise, it's worth reminding that there are 13 universities, in Italy, with more than 500 years of history.

Italy has, also, the most ancient, still working bank in the world: the Monte dei Paschi di Siena Bank, active since 1472.

In Italy there are over 140 types of pasta! Some varieties are produced only at a regional level, while others although produced throughout Italy, they are known with a different region from region to region. Trivia # 6

Speaking of food, in Italy you can find the smallest restaurant in the world! That's right, its name is “Solo per Due” (Just for two) and, as the name suggests, it can accomodate, only, two people, since there's only one table. It's in  Vacone, in the  province of Rieti! If you're around there, try it... but only if you're not too many!

Today's last trivia iv very sweet.... because it's about Nutella! In fact, Italy is where it was born. It all began in Cuneo in 1964 where the famous Italian company Ferrero, starting from some previous experiments made on a cream called Supercrema, gave rise to the delicious and exquisite Nutella!
