Welcome back to another video. In this video, I attempted to make my own potato hamburger buns.
1/2 cup or 118ml warm milk (I used Oatly whole milk)
1/4 cup or 59ml warm water
1 tsp or 5g salt
4 tbsp or 56g unsalted butter (I used Flora plant butter unsalted)
1 egg beaten
2 tbsp or 25g sugar
2 1/2 tsp yeast ( i used one package of instant yeast)
3 cups flour or 450g ( I used bread flour)
1/2 cup mashed potatoes
Topping
You can brush the top of your buns with water or egg wash (and then top with sesame seeds if you wish).
I used a mixture of melted butter with 1 tsp honey, this is completely optional.
