Shell Grotto, Margate, UK

The Shell Grotto in Margate, Kent, UK filmed on 17 June 2021. This is a subterranean grotto discovered in 1835. It is unknown who constructed it or when. There are approximately 4.6 million shells in its 104 feet of passages. The photo in the Altar Chamber shows a seance being held there in 1939. The wall was destroyed in an air raid in WW2.
