Done on a 2002 Ford
Done on a 2002 Ford Mustang V6, process similar on a GT. The PCM itself is easy to replace. Service information has you disconnecting the 3 connectors blocking it, but you can just remove their bracket. I bought a used PCM from the junkyard and no reprogramming was done. The PATS module was not accepting the replacement PCM, a DTC 1260 was set. The video also shows how to reprogram keys to the PATS and PCM module.
