Minimally Invasive Robotic Mitral Valve Repair Animation

People diagnosed with mitral valve disease -- including prolapse of the mitral valve tissue, which causes mitral regurgitation -- can benefit from mitral valve repair.  This animation describes how cardiac surgeons at NYU Langone Medical Center repair degenerative mitral valve conditions using a minimally invasive robotic procedure.
