If you've ever been fascinated by the wonderful intersection between French pastry and South East Asian flavours, you've come to the right place. Wendy Lau, Owner of Folds Patisserie on Dominion Road in Auckland, New Zealand is diversifying what it means to eat pastries.

From pandan infused lamingtons with a coconut jelly to a Nasi Lemak tarts that take this nostalgic street side staple to a completely new level of elegance, we're darn proud of what Wendy and her team has achieved.

Being of South East Asian descent myself, the expression of authentic Malaysian flavours in an environment where Mince and Cheese Pies and Custard Squares are  historically adored is a courageously admirable move. We're chuffed to be able to tell their story and hope you enjoyed watching.
