'Walk Away Slowly' was the b side of the now rare 1965 US only single 'You Better Go Join The Campfire Girls'.At the time Fred was in both Joe South's and Billy Joe Royal's backing band and you can clearly hear the influence of both in this song.
In 1967 Freddy was head hunted by Paul Revere to join The Raiders and 1969 he would co-write the worldwide hit 'Dizzy' with Tommy Roe.
