Verdun: Into the Darkness of Regret (Exploring an Abandoned Fort) | History Traveler Episode 309

Following the Franco-Prussian War, the city of Verdun found itself on the frontline of a new postwar border. In order to turn this crossroads city into a fortress, a ring of fortifications were built around Verdun. On of those was Fort du Regret. In this episode, we're getting unlimited access to this closed fort to get a taste of what it was like for the French soldiers who fought here during The Battle of Verdun.
