A compilation edit of Mrs Coulter in His Dark Materials Season 3, Episode 4.
Ruth owned Episode 4 'Lyra and Her Death', not just because of that insanely gorgeous purple dress (thank you Caroline McCall!), but because "Mrs Coulter is back." I couldn't believe how many scenes they gave us of her!
The way Mrs Coulter handled MacPhail! They are quite the pairing! She then went into comedian mode again. Full of quips that had me howling. And then those tears of laughter soon turned into tears of pain and anger with how MacPhail treated her at the end. They sure did a remarkable job of adapting 'Mrs Coulter in Geneva' to the screen! Above and beyond!
This episode also took me 3 hours to watch because there's just so much rich content to take in. I think 3x04 is an easy favourite for me in terms of Mrs Coulter content! And then, of course, the ending with Lyra and Pan is heartbreakingly unforgettable.
