This week we'll be starting with our documentary on Carmine Persico and how he survived all three Colombo family wars, only to rise to the top of the family and spend his tenure as boss from behind bars.
Next we'll be taking a look at the mafia pizza connection, one of the world's most infamous drug rings that ran for over a decade through small pizza places across the rural Midwest, until the boss of the ring, Gaetano Badalamenti, would be caught hiding out in Brazil.
Finally, we'll be retelling the story of the South Boston Irish underworld, an inter-connected network of violent thieves, heist-men, and drug runners that would fall under the iron-rule of secret FBI informant Whitey Bulger.
