The Creamiest Mashed Potatoes EVER!

Want to learn how to make the creamiest mashed potatoes you have ever had?  Come learn the secret to these potatoes so you can please your family at your next meal.

Recipe:

4 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes

1 cube butter, melted

1 cup heavy cream

salt and pepper

rosemary

thyme

garlic

Peel potatoes, dice into 1 inch cubes and place in a pot of cold water.  Bring water to a boil and cook for about 12 minutes or until fork tender.

Drain the potatoes and place back into pot.  Cook off any excess water, about 2 minutes.  Press the potatoes through a fine mesh sieve using the back of a spoon into a bowl or another pot.

Place the heavy cream in a small pan and heat over medium heat.  If you want to infuse the cream, add the herbs and garlic.  Once the cream comes to a boil, strain (if using the herbs) and set aside.

Add the melted butter to the potatoes and mix completely until fully incorporated.  Add the cream, a little at a time, until it is all mixed in.  Add salt and pepper as needed.
