Nyeri Governor Dr. Gakuru Wahome is dead

Tonight the country, and the people of Nyeri County are mourning the death of Governor Gakuru Wahome who lost his life in a road accident along the Nairobi-Nyeri road. Three of his staff members also sustained injuries after his Mercedes Benz veered off the road and tore through a guard-rail early morning.
Police, the transport and safety authority and the governors’ driver, have however, differed on what caused the tragic crash.
