The Brisbane Metro is a new high frequency, turn up and go  public transport option that is being delivered by the Brisbane City Council. It will run on existing busways, shared with the current bus services and is an electric, high capacity bus that doesn't require tracks, or poles or massive infrastructure upgrades. Since I live in Brisbane and am really excited by the direction that the city is heading towards, I wanted to find out more about this huge undertaking: how it will help the city, how will it integrate with the new Cross River Rail project and what exactly will it mean for the city, especially in the lead up to the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games. Is it going to change living in Brisbane, and what should people who are moving to Brisbane expect? Plus I had a very special guest to talk to about the project, Councillor Ryan Murphy, the Civic Cabinet Chair for Transport, and member for Chandler Ward in Brisbane's east.
