David Chang Makes Stir Fry, Beef “Udon”, and Oyakodon

Dave Chang is back in the kitchen, cooking like he does at home. Unlike television shows, with one person cooking one thing at a time, Dave shows what it is like for him to cook at home for his wife and kids. His goal is to use what’s in the refrigerator or freezer to push food out of the house as deliciously as possible. As usual, there's no plan, no preparation but this is the essence of home cooking. In this video, Dave makes a stir fry, beef “udon”, and oyakodon. He makes good use of leftovers and other ingredients that he has on hand, like incorporating the dashi made for the beef “udon” and repurposing it for a chicken oyakodon.
