Swahili curried liver 1kg goat
Swahili curried liver
1kg goat liver cubed
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon garlic ginger paste
coriander chopped
100ml ilara mazila
50g tomato paste
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
salt to taste
2 green chilies chopped
1 onion chopped
Method:
In a pot over medium heat add in the oil and sauté onions until soft, add in garlic ginger paste and garam masala. Cook for a few minutes, then go in with tomato paste, green chillies and then add in the liver cook for 2 minutes and then reduce the heat to medium-low, add in the Ilara Mazila, salt to taste
Cover the pot and stir constantly.
When the liver is almost done, turn the heat to medium-high stirring constantly.
Remove from heat when the liver is well cooked. Enjoy with mahambri
