Today's video looks at the V/Line Passenger locomotive fleet here in Victoria. Vline is the provider of country passenger train services here in Victoria. While Sprinter and Vlocity DMUs make up a large proportion of the rolling stock in 2020, there is still some locomotive hauled services. The video looks at the type of rolling stock in the vline fleet since 1995 when V/Line was split into two businesses - V/Line Passenger and V/Line Freight. With the separation V/Line Passenger ended up with a mix of A Class Diesel Locomotives, N Class Diesel Locomotives, P Class Diesel Locomotives and Y Class Diesel Locomotives. S302 also made an appearance in the fleet for a short period of time.
