This is the video produced from my time at Fort Knox for training to be a US Army M1 Abrams Armor Crewman. At the time, new soldiers in the US Army typically did 8 weeks of basic training, followed by 10 weeks of advanced (specialty) training. Rather than 18 weeks of basic and then advanced training, the 19K MOS instead combined the armor crewman basic and advanced training into just 14 weeks. This was called OSUT, or One Station Unit Training.

I signed my papers to join the US Army in February of 1990 and began basic training in August of 1990. My unit was Bravo Co, 1/81, 6th platoon.
