Two-Face is a classic Batman villain who enjoys the love of the fans. Harvey Dent’s origin story is one that is plagued with unfortunate events due to the antics of his abusive father, giving rise to his terrible mental trauma and bipolar disorder - the primary cause of his duality. However, he persevered and became a lawyer, only for things to hit the brick once again following an acid attack that ruined his face and triggered his descent into madness. As Harvey Dent assumed the moniker of Two-Face, he turned to a life of crime. He then went on to become a criminal mastermind in the underworld of Gotham City.
Harvey Dent made his debut in Detective Comics #66 in 1942. He was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger and his eclectic characterization gained popularity quite fast, making him a fan-favorite as he terrorized Gotham. His stellar design and coin-flipping gimmick with its dark past have cemented him in Batman’s rogue gallery.
