Modify your Gas Can so
Modify your Gas Can so you can fast pour. How to convert Fuel-Pax or any gas can.
Replace the old fuel can spouts with this technique. As most of you will likely agree, the new style "safety" spouts are horrible and need to be wrestled with. They spill all over and are slow to pour, a pain in the butt to lawnmower owners everywhere. This video shows you how to retrofit those pain in the ass gas can spouts with a custom spout. You can get all the parts at Home Depot, Lowes or Tractor Supply Co. and the fix can be easily done at home in the garage. The can I fix in this video is for a rotopax (roto-Pax) fuel container, but you get the idea. Also, the Pop-A-Vent can be purchased on Ebay or online for about $8. The Banjo Cap can be purchased for $1 on Ebay or online. I used schedule 80 pvc, part number, 385120D, and cut it in two for the end of the spout.
