सातारी काळ्या घेवड्याची भाजी बनवण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
• ४ चमचे किसलेलं सुकं खोबरं
• २~३ लसूण पाकळ्या
• ताजा काळा घेवडा
• तेल
• बारीक चिरलेला कांदा
• २ चमचे भाजलेल्या शेंगदाण्याचं कूट

Kalya ghevdyachi bhaji is a Satari recipe that is Satara special bhaji. Kala ghevda is also known as kala police. These are available from rainy season till end of winter. This bhaji looks nice and tastes super delicious. As we are making it in cooker it is a quick recipe. This recipe doesn’t need lot many ingredients. You can make it from very few ingredients those are readily available in your pantry. We are making fresh masala for this bhaji. If you are bored of having the same bhaji and want to have something tasty, then this is the best option for you. It is rich in proteins and fiber. It also helps to maintain bones healthy. It is also good for weight loss and digestion. After reading all this, you must be eager to know more. So, here I am with an easy and simple recipe. Ingredients:
• 2 tsp grated dry Coconut
• 2~3 Garlic cloves
• Coriander leaves
• Fresh Kala Ghevda
• Oil
• Finely chopped Onion
• 2 tsp roasted Peanut powder
• 2 tsp Kanda-lasun masala
• 2 tsp Red chili powder
• Salt to taste
• Hot Water as needed

Method:
• For making masala, blend dry coconut, garlic and coriander leaves well together into coarse
 paste.
• Avoid use of water while blending. Vatan or masala is ready.
• Heat up oil in a cooker and add kala ghavda.
• Fry it well for about 4-5 minutes.
• You can soak dry kala ghevda overnight and use it in place of fresh ghevda.
• When the ghevda begins to pop up or puff up, take it out into a bowl.
• Add some more oil in cooker and add onion.
• Fry onion well until it gets nice golden color and add the blended masala.
• Fry it well together for about 2 minutes and add roasted peanut powder.
• Mix everything well together and add kanda lasun masala, red chili powder, salt.
• Mix everything well together.
• Add the roasted ghevda and mix well.
• Add hot water and mix well.
• Close the lid and steam on medium heat for about 10-15 minutes. Kalya ghevdyachi bhaji is
 ready.
• Or you can cook ghevda on medium heat until 2 whistles.
• Or you can use kadhai in place of cooker. In that case cook the ghevda on medium heat for about
 15-20 minutes.
• You can have it with bhakri or chapati. It goes well with rice too.
