Tending to our wounds

What would life be like if we were able to see each other's wounds? Would we be kinder? Softer? More patient? This little wound is making me think a lot more about how I treat myself and how I treat those around me, both loved ones, but also those I don't know. We all have wounds. I think the world would be a lot better off if we started seeing the healing that can come from just a little more gentleness, a little more kindness to all our wounded bits.
