Very few store owners know and care about the finances of their store because they just focus on the traffic and product side of their business and just hope for the best. But if you get this sorted, you are going to see where opportunities are in your own store and see exactly how you should be spending on your ads to make sure they're profitable. And that my friends is really powerful because if you know how much you should spend on your ads, you can spend more than your competition and get all the traffic they are bidding on. That's when you know that your not wasting valuable ad spend!
So in this video, we’re diving into a topic that EVERY SINGLE Ecom store owner needs to be on top of: Calculating Ecommerce Profitability! Yes, calculating the profit margin of your store can get complicated. So let’s keep it simple. I’m going to show you two simple profit margin formula that you need to know to calculate the profitability of your store and products. I’m even providing a FREE TEMPLATE so you can calculate this super easy.
Fake gurus love showing off REVENUE and SALES but they don't tell you the profit because (1) they don't know and (2) they do know but it’s so shit and it doesn’t sound as impressive as revenue numbers. You can sell 100,000 word of products but if it cost you 1 million to do so because you dropped it all on terrible Facebook Ads, then it’s not a profitable store and you’re just burning cash. And this doesn’t sound good and doesn't sell their courses, so they don't tell you that.
So let's skip all these big Ecom courses and learn the basics of knowing the health of your store and getting a closer look of what's really working and generating revenue!
