Sustainable Land Use Strategies

Prof. Dr. David Kleijn from Wageningen University & Research speaks at his lecture at the conference "Nachhaltige Landnutzung - Sustainable Land Use" about "Sustainable Land Use Strategies: Connecting Farmland, Protected Areas and Public Space".His presentation focuses on strategies for the effective conservation and promotion of biodiversity in agricultural landscapes.

The Conference "Nachhaltige Landnutzung - Sustainable Land Use" took place in Göttingen on 15-16 November 2019. About 300 participants discussed sustainable land use, biodiversity and social aspects of land use.

The conference series "Science for Peace and Sustainability" is organized by the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen in cooperation with the Association of German Scientists (VDW) and the Adam von Trott Foundation, Imshausen. The interdisciplinary conference series focuses annually on peace and/or sustainability and aims to bring science, politics and the public into dialogue.
