पोहा चकली बनवण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
• १/२ कप पंढरपुरी डाळं / डाळवं
• १ कप जाड पोहे
• १ कप तांदळाचं पीठ
• १ मोठा चमचा धनेपूड
• १ मोठा चमचा पांढरे तीळ
• १/२ चमचा ओवा

Poha chakli is a new addition to your Diwali faral. With Diwali round the corner you must be looking for simple, easy yet crispy and crunchy chakli recipe. This is a real quick recipe. If you don’t have time to make bhajani for chakli but want to have testy chakli then this is the best option for you. These turn out nice, crispy and light. We already have seen quite a few chakli recipes like bhajani chakli, moong dal chakli, whrat flour chakli, jawar chakli. You can find all these recipes. Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup roasted Chana dal
• 1 cup thick Poha
• 1 cup Rice flour
• 1 tbsp Coriander powder
• 1 tbsp white Sesame seeds
• 1/2 tsp Ajwain / Carom seeds
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp Red chili powder
• 2 cups Water
• Oil for frying

Method:
• Take roasted chana dal pohe in a blender jar and blend it into fine powder.
• Sieve the mixture into a bowl and add rice flour, coriander powder, white sesame seeds,
 ajwain, salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder.
• Mix everything well together.
• You can keep this premix ready.
• Boil water in a pan and turn the gas to low heat.
• Add the mixture into boiling water and mix in quickly.
• Turn off the gas and let the mixture cool down a little.
• Knead the dough well while it is still hot.
• Take a small portion from the dough and roll it.
• Transfer the roll into chakli mold and roll chakli on butter paper.
• You can use small dishes in place of butter paper.
• Seal both the ends of chakli well so that it won’t open up while frying.
• Heat up oil on medium heat in a pan.
• When oil is hot enough turn the heat to low.
• Drop chakli in hot oil and fry well from both sides.
• After frying one side for about 5 minutes on heat flip the chakli over and fry well from other
 side too.
• When chakli is fried well from both sides take it out, drain excess oil and transfer it into a
 dish.
• Poha chakli is all ready.
• You can store it in an airtight container when it cools down completely.
