U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, says the U.S. supports the creation of two permanent U.N. Security Council seats for African states.

And, the Hong Kong Journalists Association says reporters and their family members have been threatened with violence by unknown individuals in recent months.
