SPIN Protocol in Wireless Sensor Networks

In WSN, Sensor Protocols for Information via Negotiation (SPIN) is a data centric routing protocol,
which forwards data to neighbor nodes but it does not ensures the reliable data delivery.
SPIN is based on the concept of metadata.
It relies on each application to interpret and synthesize its own meta-data.
It can advertise this using ADV message containing Metadata.
(i) Secure Network Encryption Protocol (SNEP)
(ii) Micro version of Timed Efficient Streaming Loss-Tolerant Authentication protocol (μTESLA)
