Year one of shooting the
Year one of shooting the IWI (IMI) Tavor TAR-21. I try to take this rifle out a lot, and I try to shoot it as much as possible. Can't bear to see it stuck in a safe.
The TAR-21 is a .223 (5.56) caliber semi-automatic rifle. It was developed by the IDF and Israeli Weapon Industries and is currently issued to the Golani brigade and the Givati Brigade as their main combat rifle. It is a piston driven bull-pup system with an 18.5" barrel.
I installed the initial short optics rail, switched between military and civilian bolts, added the surefire flash hider, and installed a full length flattop rail on my own.
