Tavor Tar-21 Technical Specs:
- Calibre: 5.56mm NATO
- Operating: Long Stroke Piston, gas operated, rotating bolt
- Modes of fire: Semi auto only
- Magazine Capacity: 5-100 (only 5 in Canada due to restrictive magazine limit laws)
- Sights: Factory rail-integrated irons
- Optic: Trijicon Acog 3.5x35mm
- Barrel Length: 18.1" (Standard TAR model - one shown in video is 18.5")
- Barrel Twist: 1:7
- Overall Length min/max: 28.5"
- Weight: 7.21#
- Muzzle Device: AAC BrakeOut 2.0 compensator + BlastOut blast deflector
The IWI Tavor Tar-21 is classed based on barrel length in Canada. With a 18.5"+ barrel it is in the non-restricted category and legal to possess with a PAL (possession & acquisition license). The ATRS Modern Hunter bonus gun is not classed as an AR-15 and with a barrel over 18.5" it is non-restricted, requiring a PAL to possess.
