Winter Pier Fishing in the UK

My first shore fishing trip out this year – Pier fishing in south shields for anything that is about at this time of year.

I spent two days fishing from the start of the pier at marker 14 and 10 fishing into the bay using a selection of frozen baits and small hooks.

Day fishing isn’t too good around my local area this time of year but I persevered and was rewarded with a few fish.
