I normally pack my beach fishing gear away in January to concentrate on lure fishing, but the travel restrictions have limited me to an area where lure fishing is pretty poor, so I've been shore fishing to feed the bug. My usual winter cod tactics don't really work at this time of year, so I've done a bit research and tried to improve my fishing by scaling back the tackle and trying new rigs.
