आल्हा चन्देल राजा परमर्दिदेव (परमाल के रूप में भी जाना जाता है) के एक महान सेनापति थे, जिन्होंने सन 1182 ई० में पृथ्वीराज चौहान से जंग लड़ी थी, जो आल्हा-खाण्डबॉल में अमर हो गए।
