Learn the traditional way of making this Punjabi mango pickle which is a spicy & tangy Indian style pickle in which raw mango pieces are preserved in oil and spices.

Mango pickle prepared with our recipe will keep good for 2 years and more. This is a 5 kg mango pickle recipe. If you want to prepare a smaller quantity of pickle, reduce all ingredients in the same ratio as mangoes.  Do try it our way and give your feedback.

5 kg raw mangoes
250 grams ground saunf
250 grams ground fenugreek seeds
750 grams of salt
1-litre mustard oil
50 grams kalonji (nigella seeds)
100 grams turmeric powder
100 grams red chilli powder
