2004 Volvo VC40 - P0014 & P0015 - How to check timing FAST & EASY with pressure transducer!

This Volvo had a lot of problems. Among others, it had the codes:

P0014 - 'B' camshaft position - timing over-advanced or system performance bank 1
P0015 - 'B' camshaft position - timing over-retarded bank 1

A quick check of the belt and it looks very oily. So has it jumped? Is it still in time? On this vehicle it wouldn't be difficult to check physical timing marks. Some vehicles ARE difficult to check though. Rather than spending the time pulling stuff a part to physically check we can drop a pressure transducer in with no more effort than removing the spark plug! Not only can you see valve timing but you get all kinds of other information related to the mechanical operation of the engine!
