A video commentary that discusses the current state of the Halo community and how to make it grow. With Microsoft and 343's Halo Infinite releasing later this year on the Xbox Series X I think the topic of community features and player investment is incredibly relevant and important. There is a lot of hype and real opportunity to rebuild Halo in to a true contender for the fps crown. This video will discuss the concept of designing a community through the influence of in game systems. It will talk about the influence of microtransactions, the power of a compelling reward system including cosmetic unlocks via achievements, community tools such as forge and theater, along with how a lot of these components are connected.
