Owner of Brooklyn Park Drive-In Restaurant Perseveres Through Difficult Challenges

Jim Wagner, owner of Wagner’s Drive-In restaurant in Brooklyn Park, has been through a lot over the past couple of years. He’s dealt with skin cancer and other ailments. Wagner has also overcome damage to his business, when vehicles in two separate incidents crashed into the restaurant. Now his biggest challenge is finding workers. “It's harder than hell to get employees,” said Wagner, who works 12-hour days every day but Sunday to keep the restaurant going. “I just hope it never closes, ever,” said customer Jenny Courtney. “I just love this place.”
