The dad of a murdered toddler has reportedly begged the Justice Secretary to let him attend the parole hearing for Jon Venables, saying, "I know he will kill another innocent child".
James Bulger was two years old when he was snatched from a shopping centre in Bootle, Merseyside, three decades ago. The abductors – Jon Venables and his friend Robert Thompson, then murdered him.
Venables, now 40, will go before a parole panel on November 14 for a two-day hearing.
