What is Vermiculite? How can you use it in your garden?

Ever heard of Vermiculite?  It's a popular lightweight soil aggregate that works great in container and raised bed mixes.

One thing we forgot to mention in the video - there are sometimes concerns about asbestos being mixed in with vermiculite.  Vermiculite is tested to make sure there is no asbestos (The mine with this issue was supposedly closed back in 1990).  So, this isn't a concern among current supplies.
