Anas bin Malik said to Salman-e-Farsi to ask Allah's messenger who is his successor . Salman asked this question to Hazrat Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and he asked who was the successor of Salman Musa. Salman-e-Farsi replied Joshua bin Nun. Then he said Ali is my successor, my heir, the one who pays my debts and does all my works...Ali is my everything.
