Ep3. Paint a Wooden Fish Pond

Wrapping and painting wooden pond is the third upload in my 'Backyard Garden Pond' series. Frame for the fish pond has been built, waterproofed and insulated to avoid any large fluctuations in the water temperature. This diy project is finally looking good after adding 90x22mm treated pine decking boards to the pond. Exterior water based Merbau stain is used to the paint the fish pond as I am planning to build a deck which will be another project to complete the landscape of my backyard.

I must say covering the pond with timber and painting the pond was lot of fun as I could finally see myself getting somewhere with this raised wooden pond built. So many hours have already been spent but now I could see some results coming through. This is thus far the biggest diy project I have worked On at home. This is not the best garden pond in the backyard but I have put in quite a lot of hours and energy into building this pond.
