In this lesson:
Developing the link between your ears and your fingers is essential as a saxophone player.  This link enables you to play whatever you hear in your head.  This means you can improvise more freely, and improve faster, whatever style of playing you are into.

In this lesson I show you a simple exercise I use all the time to develop this skill.  I'm going to use a Christmas song today ... because it's Christmas time as I film this!

But, you could use any song, and do it any time of year!

Try this exercise yourself. The more you use it, the quicker you will become at playing songs in different keys on your sax.
