Soren Returns as Jharkhand CM // Banks and Courts Closed for Rath Yatra

According to sources from India Today, the INDIA alliance MLAs have chosen to replace Champai Soren with Hemant Soren as Jharkhand's Chief Minister. The decision was finalized during a meeting of the INDIA bloc held at the Chief Minister's residence in Ranchi. Sources further revealed that the leaders of the INDIA bloc have reached a consensus on this change. This will mark the third time Hemant Soren is sworn in as Jharkhand's Chief Minister. Champai Soren is anticipated to submit his resignation by late evening, around 8 PM.
The Odisha Government announced an extra holiday on Wednesday in observance of Rath Yatra. As a result, banks, magisterial courts, and state government offices will be closed on Monday, July 8, following the Rath Yatra, which takes place on Sunday. This notification was issued by the Revenue Department after the declaration by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
