Bajaj Auto has introduced the Bajaj Freedom 125, the world's first motorbike powered by CNG. This innovative bike operates on petrol but can seamlessly switch to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) with a button press. Although CNG-powered cars have been available for more than ten years, this marks the first motorcycle globally to adopt this technology. The starting price for the base 'Drum' variant is Rs 95,000.
President Droupadi Murmu awarded military gallantry medals to six CRPF personnel, including four posthumously, during a defence investiture ceremony in New Delhi on Friday. The families of Inspector Dilip Kumar Das, Head Constable Raj Kumar Yadav, and Constables Bablu Rabha and Shambhu Roy accepted Kirti Chakras (posthumous) on their behalf. These brave individuals were honored for their heroic actions during an anti-Naxal operation in Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh, on April 3, 2021.
